At Kippax Greenfield Primary School, we are very proud to be members of our school community. We want to nurture a sense of belonging in all our children and wearing our school uniform helps us to do this. To view our full uniform policy, click here.
Playing can be a very messy business and, although many parents look forward to their children wearing school uniform, it is not always the most practical clothing for the type of activities the Foundation Stage children will be involved in. We have chosen our Early Years uniform because it is practical, comfortable and child-friendly. This uniform is expected for all Early Years children, including both Nursery and Reception.
To clarify, we ask that children are not dressed in skirts or dresses. These can restrict movement and play. Belts, clasps, tights and shoe laces also prevent children from independently dressing themselves and going to the toilet. Please do not dress your child in shoes with laces or trousers with belts for school.
All children will take part in PE every week and these will be either indoor or outdoor sessions. All children must and wear:
*Please note, in the interests of making uniform affordable, there is no requirement to buy items with the school logo on them, however school colours must be adhered to.*
Children will also require a water bottle clearly labelled with their name.
To reduce lost property, please ensure you have clearly marked all clothing, bags, bottles etc. with your child’s name. We do not accept responsibility for any loss or damage to an individual’s property.
